This was on a short hike to Mirror Lake, which was dry as a bone when we got there.
It was a cold November day in Yosemite. We heard cable was down, but we headed to the Half Dome anyway. It was perfect for us. No permit was required, and there was no crazy crowd, only the people who love and admire the beautiful monolith, who's willing to try climbing it with bare hands. Then where was the sunset. It was majestic. We did not expect any of these, but all of these were just given to us. It was our day.
Tunnel View is a classic vista point coming into Yosemite Valley. However, nothing beats a seeing classic view in a rare condition, like with this majestic fog layer.
