It was a perfect morning when I notice this reflection framing the rocks and fog. This was at Bear lake.
During rut Bull Elks start to form Harems. Which can include 20+ cow elks.
We started hiking the Bear Lake Trail head as the sun started to set behind the mountains. 2 miles we hiked with 30 mile an hour winds and below freezing temperatures to reach the top just in time to catch the last light fading over Dream Lake
Driving through RMNP this is one of the first real mountain views you get
