My friend and I took a trip out to Badlands National Park in South Dakota a week before Christmas in 2017. Neither of us had ever been to the Badlands in the wintertime. There was no snow there, which is unusual for that time of year. We decided to go to Panorama Point to photograph the sunrise. It turned out to be one of the best mornings out of the 3 days we were there. We were facing towards the east waiting for the sun. Then we turned around a saw this amazing color hitting the clouds.
