BRYCE CANYON
Read MoreI was with my 14 years son on a trip in the national parks of Arizona/Utah during spring break, it was pretty warm until we arrived at Bryce canyon, where it was freezing cold at night. I woke up early to catch the sunrise, the clouds weren't very interesting so I was trying to frame a good shot of the sunrise without the sky. I moved a bit away from the crowd in a less accessible area where I could get a good view of the glowing light of the sun rising over Bryce canyon.
My cousin and I arrived at Bryce in the evening (a couple of nights before the new year), and we decided to set up my 3-season tent on the glimmering powdery snow. This was both of our first time camping in the snow. We were naive. Both of our boots were not waterproof. We were freezing. The one thing I remembered was to have hot water in our bottles to keep us warm and plenty of blankets. When morning came, we drove to Sunrise Point. Finally, I saw Bryce-- how surreal it seemed.
